Our Story
We're Mark and Tina, and we're so excited to introduce you to our luxury B&B experience, The Darling Suites.
Our suites are located within the grounds of our private equestrian centre and Filey Cat Rescue’s Little Heroes Sanctuary, so if you like to see horses and sheep grazing in nearby fields or cats strolling by your window, then this is the place for you. Caring for over one hundred permanent residents — ranging from pigs to sheep, and donkeys to rabbits — we're dedicated to providing our animals with the "forever home" that they deserve.
And it's with that same love for hospitality that we welcome you to join us in our newly-renovated private suites. Our aim is to offer our guests a top-quality holiday or business experience, set against a stunning rural backdrop, just a four minute drive from Filey and ten minutes from Scarborough. With a wide selection of cooked and continental breakfasts included in every room rate and served straight to your suite, you'll have everything you need for a comfortable East Coast retreat.

Did you know? The Darling Suites’ neighbouring gardens are home to dozens of rescue cats and kittens, residing in and around Mark and Tina’s Little Heroes Sanctuary, which serves as the headquarters for their newly-registered charity, Filey Cat Rescue.
In its initial six months of operation, the organisation has been responsible for the rescue and rehabilitation of over 120 cats and kittens, providing them with first-class accommodation and nourishment, financing their life-saving veterinary care, and enabling them to experience love and kindness, often for the first time.
