Can I book if I'm under 18?

We're afraid not.

At The Darling Suites, we can only accept bookings from those aged 18 or over, and you may be asked to provide a form of identification on arrival.

Are children welcome?

Of course!

The Red One will be the suite for you, if you're hoping to book a family retreat. Please note, this suite contains one king-size bed and one double sofa bed.

Can I bring my pet?

We currently have over one hundred animals here at The Darling Suites, so we're afraid there's no more room at the inn (with the exception of assistance dogs, of course).

Do the suites have Wi-Fi?

Only the best! High-speed and complimentary.

Am I allowed to smoke?

We have a strict No Smoking Policy that prohibits smoking within the suites.

We will provide an outdoor sand bucket for smoking in a designated area, if required.

Are you open over Christmas?

Unfortunately, Santa's elves have left us with no vacancies from Christmas Eve until Boxing Day, but you're welcome to stay with us until the 24th and from the 27th December — and we offer a wonderful New Year's package, so we'd love to celebrate the holiday season with you!

What amenities do the suites include?

Our guests enjoy complimentary breakfast, as well as lots of extra perks to make their chosen suite a home away from home. These include (but are not limited to):

• Mini-fridge
• Towels

How many guests can each suite accommodate?

Both of our suites are designed to accommodate two guests sharing one king-size bed. However, The Red One, with the addition of a double sofa bed, can accommodate up to four guests.

Where is breakfast served?

You can enjoy breakfast in the comfort of your suite — each has its own private dining area.

Are the suites accessible?

Both of our suites are solely ground-level, with only a few small steps here and there in The Red One. Please see below for more detailed information.

‍The Red One
‍There is a 2cm lip upon entering the property through the front door, which has an opening width of 76cm and is well lit at night.

Situated off the dining room is the lounge, which is accessed by a 10cm step.

Both the dining room and lounge have wooden flooring, while the bedroom has a fitted carpet.

The en-suite is tiled and has a spacious walk-in shower, slightly raised, 10cm from ground level. There are no grab handles.

‍The Blue One
‍The property’s porch is entered through a level-access front door with an opening width of 85cm, which is well lit at night.

Situated off the porch is the lounge, which is accessed through a large French door with an opening width of 81cm.

The doors to both the bathroom and bedroom have opening widths of 82cm.

Just off the lounge is the bathroom, in which there is a bathtub with an overhead shower. The bathtub is 53cm above ground-level and is 34cm deep. There is a grab handle on the wall over the bathtub.

‍The nearest train stations to The Darling Suites are Filey, which is 6 minutes away by car, and Seamer, which is 8 minutes away.

‍Parking
‍Complimentary parking is available directly outside the suites with no reservation required.

‍Luggage
‍We will happily provide luggage assistance if required.

Where is The Darling Suites located?

You can find us just outside of Filey — the jewel of the East Coast. We're only a 60-minute drive from both York and Hull, and our nearest train stations are Filey, which is 6 minutes away by car, and Seamer, which is 8 minutes away.

Is there parking available?

Yes, and it's free!

Complimentary parking is available directly outside the suites and no reservation is necessary.

Is breakfast included in my stay?

You betcha!

Breakfast is complimentary at The Darling Suites, so make sure to start your day the right way with our menu of delicious pastries, fresh fruit, cereals, and, of course, our classic Full English.

Where is breakfast served?

You can enjoy breakfast in the comfort of your suite — each has its own private dining area.

Are evening meals available?

Unfortunately, we're not able to offer evening meals. That said, you can order local takeaways right to your suite — we provide our personal recommendations in each suite's Welcome Pack, equip you with plates and cutlery, and even take care of the washing up!

Alternatively, the village pub is only a five-minute walk from The Darling Suites, serving classic pub-grub and the finest local ales.

Do you serve alcohol?

Sadly, we're unable to serve alcohol at The Darling Suites, but you're more than welcome to bring your own.

Can I change the dates of my stay?

If you're due to arrive in over 7 days time, we will do our best to accommodate your wishes, but cannot guarantee availability. If you're arriving within the next 7 days, unfortunately, we are unable to change your dates.

What is your cancellation policy?

You may cancel free of charge until 7 days before your scheduled arrival date. If you opt to cancel less than 7 days before your scheduled arrival date, you will still be charged the total cost of your stay.

What payment methods do you accept?

All bookings made through our website (www.thedarlingsuites.co.uk) are paid for via PayPal, wherein the following payment methods are accepted:

If you are booking a stay that's 7 nights or more, you'll receive 10% off when you checkout online.
